Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve is situated on the banks of the Barham River.

It caters for all travellers with well appointed cabins, powered and un-powered sites for caravans and camping.

The reserve is only 700 metres from the Apollo Bay shops and the golf course.

A short walk across the Great Ocean Road takes you to the lovely swimming, surfing and fishing beach of Mounts Bay and great river fishing is right on our door step.

Apollo Bay is an excellent place for a stop over whilst you are travelling the Great Ocean Road.  It is a small fishing village 183 km from Melbourne and 536 km from Adelaide.

Whist retaining the charm of an Australian country town Apollo Bay has great restaurants, superb beaches and a variety of choices in accommodation.

back blocksThe Great Ocean walk starts in Apollo Bay and you can be dropped off or picked up at different locations along the walk by the Great Ocean Road Shuttle service.

Make the Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve your base whilst visiting the Cape Otway Lighthouse or the Otway Fly which enables you to experience the canopy of the forest.


Otway Coast Committee reviews all tariffs in June each year with new tariffs becoming effective from 1st of July.
